Just playing with another new stamp from Hero Arts that I have been wanting since it was released.
The Large Flower Background is just beautiful and I've seen a lot of awesome cards made with it. Here I heat embossed with silver and colored with Memento markers. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set called Truly Appreciated.
A simple card, but I wanted the background to be the star!!

There is a new monthly challenge on Lily Pad Cards!! The uber-talented Virginia Lu will be providing an inspiration photo called "Virginia's View" for these challenges. Here is the first one:

Lemon and lavender is the challenge this week on Simon Says Stamp. I have been wanting to participate in their challenges, but the deadlines always got away from me. Here is my card:
The stamps are from Hero Arts, dies from Spellbinders, polka dot paper from Amuse. Colored the flower with Memento markers and added some glitter.

The balloons (Stampendous) are colored with pencils, with some glitter added. Hero Arts dictionary greeting is stamped lightly with Memento pear ink for an allover background. Sentiment is from Hero Arts, too. The patterned paper is from the Pocket Full of Posies stack and the border punch is from Martha Stewart. Grosgrain ribbon is from Pat Catan's (a local hobby store). I added some dots around the edge for some definition.
