This week's challenge at CAS-ual Fridays is to feature a sentiment on our card:
After looking through a lot of sentiments, I chose to use one of my all time Stampendous favorites from my early years of stamping:
The flower is one from the Simon Says March kit and the strip of patterned paper is from Teresa Collins World Traveler 6 x 6 pad.
Enjoy your weekend!

SHAPED CARD
Stampendous has a challenge this month to make a shaped card - anything other than a square or rectangle.
I used a Nesties label for this little gift card - it is approximately 4 x 2.75 inches. The flower stamp is from Stampendous and the sentiment is from A Muse. Colored with Prismacolor pencils, added glitter and pearls.
Thanks for visiting!

CFC36
This is my second post for today. For my Tuesday Trigger card, scroll down to the next post.
Black and white always looks classy to me. Here is my card for CAS-ual Fridays:
Stampendous stamp with Hero Arts sentiment heat embossed with Versafine onyx black ink. Martha Stewart border punch. Hero Arts black pearls. Outlined the panel with a black Sharpie pen.
Fun challenge!

More new stamps
Got some new stamps recently and have been trying out a few.
The posie stamp is from Stampendous and was colored with Prismacolor pencils. The label stamp is from Martha Stewart and the sentiment is from PTI. Background is overstamped with a stamp from Hero Arts.
The pp is from Pocket Full of Posies and the twine is from Hero Arts. Black gems from Simon Says.
Am still waiting on another order and have more new stamps that I haven't "played" with, too! Need more time to spend on cardmaking. . .
Thanks for visiting.

A BIRTHDAY CARD
Made this card for a birthday that is coming up soon:
The balloons (Stampendous) are colored with pencils, with some glitter added. Hero Arts dictionary greeting is stamped lightly with Memento pear ink for an allover background. Sentiment is from Hero Arts, too. The patterned paper is from the Pocket Full of Posies stack and the border punch is from Martha Stewart. Grosgrain ribbon is from Pat Catan's (a local hobby store). I added some dots around the edge for some definition.
Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend!

MARCH CCC
The card I made for Deborah Nolan's March CCC has finally arrived in The Netherlands, so I can post it now:
I used the sketch Deborah provided. On lavender cardstock I embossed the Hero Arts S5507 envelope pattern in purple, and on purple cardstock I embossed it in white. On a small piece of cardstock I embossed the sentiment (Stampendous) in purple and added the Hero Arts K5486 Flower Swirl Vine to the background with Brilliance pearlescent lavender inkpad. The large flower (Hero Arts CL482 Dots and Flowers) was purple embossed on white, cut out and added to the card with dimensional tape. Pearls for the embellishment and rounded corners to finish the card.
Deborah's monthly card chain is a lot of fun - this month there were more than 50 participants. Check it out!
