from the Hero Arts Flickr group, Dasa, sent my a very nice Hero Arts clear stamp set that I did not have:
I need some thank you cards, so here is the first one I made using two of the stamps in the set:
I love this pretty scalloped frame. I colored the flower and leaves with markers and then cut the image out with a circle die. The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Little Black Dress 6 x 6 pad and the embossing folder is Anna Griffin.
Here is one more card I made in a similar manner:
This is a very nice stamp set and I will be using it a lot. Thank you, Dasa!
gives the option of coloring as their "toppings" this time around, but as much as I love to color, I didn't do so on this card. Good thing they will accept anything goes as an entry, too. here is a card I made for a friend:
I used papers from the Basic Gray True Love 6 x 6 pad for this one and a pretty PTI die for the stacked flowers. The fern die is from Memory Box and the sentiment is from Stampendous. Added a script stamp to the paper on which the sentiment is stamped.

Have a great day!
for the year 2014! It has been a busy month for me and I have not been able to actually sit down to make cards and look for challenges to enter. But, here is a Valentine I made for the current Seize the Sketch #11 challenge:
The hearts are Hero Arts die cuts. I spritzed some red distress inks on my craft sheet and swiped the white hearts through the inks. After they were dry, I outlined them with a Pilot gold metallic marker. The patterned paper is also edged with the gold marker and is from Magenta. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. A Martha Stewart border punch and some gold sequins were also added.
Have a great weekend!
