virginia's view. . . .

is a new challenge being hosted by the super talented Virginia Lu on her Yes, Virginia blog.

Her first challenge is to use her inspiration photo for our guide plus add watercoloring.  Here is my card:

I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder that is a frame of flowers.  My Derwent inktense watercolor pencils were fun to use for coloring the flowers.  I then added some pearls and gems randomly to the centers.  The Hero Arts sentiment was heat embossed with my clear sparkle powder.  Then I used my Sakura glitter pen (in lieu of having a wink of Stella) to outline the raised edges of the flowers and frame.  The tiny Memory Box butterflies were also watercolored and then covered with the Sakura glitter pen.

Thanks, Virginia, for a fun new challenge!

Also sending this to Simon Says for their current challenge  which is anything goes with pearls.
