soc week four. . . .

is almost over and here I am with my offering just in time again.

The colors Kristin picked for this week are pink and green with the option of a dark green.  I am also submitting my card to two other challenges, which are new start-ups:

"around the house" is the challenge at the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge, and

"a touch of nature" is the challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge.

The background for my card was made using shaving cream and reinkers.  I love the marbled look you get with this technique.  I gold embossed the sentiment, which is from Hero Arts, and I also gold embossed the edges of the panel.  The butterfly is a clipart piece I have had for ages.  I applied Stickles glitter on the butterfly and added three sequins.

I hope all of my USA friends are having a wonderful long weekend celebrating the birthday of our country!!

Thanks for visiting.
