Over the weekend I bought this stamp and wanted to play with it today.
My first thought was to color it with my watercolor crayons. Then I went back over the whole flower with a metallic watercolor wash. I added lots of little black pearls in the center.
The background started out as white cardstock which I colored with Ranger Distress inks. I used mustard seed and rusty hinge pads to color the whole piece and then stamped the flower with brushed corduroy. Stamped the sentiment in dark brown ink. A little dark brown ink around the edges; then layered to brown cardstock.
The patterned paper strip is from K & Company, the border punch from Martha Stewart. Tied a brown grosgrain ribbon around the whole thing and placed on a yellow base card. Popped the flower up with some adhesive squares.
I can see that this stamp will be very versatile and fun to use in a lot of ways!

I agree, depending on how it's colored, this flower can go lots of ways. Lovely!
Very beautiful Joy! The background is gorgeous!
Beautiful Joy! You didn't even needed to pop up the flower with adhesive, your coloring makes it already so dimensional.
