I have been missing in action for awhile - sometimes it is impossible to find time to stamp. And, then, it is even harder to come up with a design I actually like!!
Here is a card I made today using the envelope pattern with the long stem poppies:
The poppies were colored with Prismacolor pencils and then overstamped with the envelope pattern using peeled paint distress ink. I layered the image on black and green cardstock. On the top folded base card, I stamped the envelope pattern again at the top with Adirondack meadow rose ink. Patterned paper was adhered to the bottom of the card and a strip of Hero Arts lace trim was added along the seam; pearls placed above. The sentiment was black heat embossed and layered to black cardstock. I mounted the focal image with dimensional squares and added one to the right side of the sentiment to lift it from the card base too.
So glad I finally got the woodblock envelope pattern. It makes such a cool background, doesn't it??
