PARIS. . . .

is said to be a beautiful place in the spring.  I would love to be able to experience this in person; but will have to imagine it for now.  Here is my card for the current Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge.

This pretty stamp is from Stampendous.  I colored in the flowers with Memento markers and then stamped an older Hampton Arts stamp around it to make a subtle background.  Then I used distress inks to color in the whole background, used Tim's distressing tool on the edges and added more distress ink to darken the edges and corner.  The card base was stamped with the same background stamp and the edges of it were distressed also.  A few tiny turquoise gems were added for some sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Joy, I love what you did with this - adding that background to the Tower gives it such depth and interest, kind of cloud-like! Just beautiful in these colors, too! YUMM!!
