shades of pink. . . .

for my card today, which will be entered in the Simon Says Stamp "anything goes" challenge and the Flutterby Wednesday challenge for this week:



It's been awhile since I used these pretty cling stamps from Hero Arts - I love the positive/negative designs together.  The Memento pale pink ink doesn't show up very well in this photo, but it is pretty IRL!  Click on the picture to see a better view.  I covered the Martha Stewart punched butterfly with stardust Stickles glitter - it definitely is prettier IRL! 

Still catching up with lots of things here; just finished planting the last of my annuals and am glad to have that done.  Can't believe today is the last day of May!

beautiful card Joy! I can see the shimmer on the butterfly. I agree with you that it can be hard to capture the true essence of a color or shimmer but you did a great job with this.
