HAVE A GREAT DAY

One of my favorite stamps from Hero Arts is this wreath, so I decided to make a card with it today.

I stamped it with black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, which I think makes it easier to color an image with a lot of details.  The coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment was also heat embossed for a richer effect.

The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Hello Luscious 6 x 6 pad.  A tiny butterfly was punched from the same paper.  Added a strip of black cardstock and some black pearls for accents.

Orange is not a color I work with very often, but I like the cheery look of this card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stamps and Supplies used:

Hero Arts CL499
Hero Arts CL351
Basic Grey Hello Luscious paper pad
Martha Stewart butterfly punch
