for this month's Mixed Media Mojo challenge:
Here is my tag:
Lots of stuff going on here: I smooshed (don't think that is a word) distress inks onto a craft sheet, spritzed, and then pressed the tag into it. Then I sprayed it with heirloom gold spray from Ranger.
I tinted modeling paste with a distress ink reinker and applied it through a Tim Holtz stencil randomly. Wrapped some of Tim's paper tape around the upper right corner.
The Hero Arts sentiment was stamped with Versafine onyx black ink and a Stamplorations celebrate artsy stamp was stamped three times on the tag with the same ink.
Tim's tattered flower dies were cut from a coffee filter and colored with distress ink, edged with silver glitter and a pearl was placed in the middle. The dragonfly is a purchased chipboard piece. Vintage seam binding was colored with distress inks and tied through the top of the tag.
I had fun making this tag. I now have quite a few tags that have been smooshed (LOL) and are ready for future use!
And, yes, this will go over to Simon Says for one more chance in their anything goes challenge.
Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!
