again! The Magenta challenge for August closes today!!
Here is my card:
The challenge was to use your favorite Magenta stamp. I cannot choose a favorite; all of my Magenta stamps have been well loved over the years. This butterfly and the flowers are classics and have stood the test of time for me. I white embossed the butterfly and colored the wings with Delicata Gold ink by using a waterbrush. I dabbed the brush directly onto the pad and then colored the open areas. The flowers were stamped with Brilliance Victorian violet ink and colored the same way as the butterfly, using Brilliance pearlescent purple ink. I masked the flowers and stamped the leaves with Brilliance pearlescent ivy ink. The metallic dots are from Studio 112. The panel was edged with a Pilot gold pen and popped up on a green card.
Can't hurt to enter this into the Simon Says anything goes challenge. :)
Thanks for visiting!!

You may be at the end of the challenge but Joy you manage to get A LOT of card challenges in-I'm impressed! Beautiful card. With magenta being a long time fave of mine I too have the flower and leaf stamp:)

Wow, this is beautiful! I love the flowers and butterfly stamped at the edges and lined in gold. Love the metallic gems too. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful stamping, Joy! I think this should be framed! Can't believe I didn't get anything made for the challenge--really need to use my Magenta stamps, which I love, too!
