are the challenge at STAMPLORATIONS.
I do have a few stamps from Stamplorations, but my card features Tim Holtz, Stampers Anonymous and Ranger products this time.
The dragonfly die/embossing folder comes in a set. While in Colorado, my son gifted me with a few things from a stamp store we found in Estes Park; this set being one of them. The background was created with two stamps from Stampers Anonymous using shaded lilac and dusty concord distress inks. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine black ink. The dragonfly was cut from white cardstock and colored with shaded lilac distress ink and then sprayed with Ranger's heirloom gold spray. Clear rhinestones from my stash were added for some bling.
While walking around a small local pond the other day, I spotted two dragonflies. So, I am submitting this to the SSS Wednesday challenge which is "summer". I also would like to say that dragonflies are not as pretty as some of the stamps/dies I have seen of them. That's what happens when you add "artistic license" in the mix!!
Thank you for your visit to my blog. I love hearing from you.
edit: also submitting this to the following challenge:
