animals. . . .

is the theme for this week's Less is More challenge. 



My supply of ANY animal is severely limited.  I tend to buy flowers, butterflies, swirls, leaves, etc.  Here is the card I managed to get made today in hopes of getting it submitted before the deadline:



I remembered that I had this Memory Box cat die, so I cut him out and sponged on some distress ink to give him a bit of color.  The balloon dies from Paper Smooches just arrived at my house this week (love them!) so I decided to make another birthday card to add to my stash.  I cut the balloons from vellum and colored them from the back with Memento markers.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  The Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle die is one of my favorite shapes for making a card.

Oh, I love how you attached the balloons to the cat's tail, and the vellum makes them look so realistic. Love the shape of the card too.
