have a heart. . . .

is the challenge at Simon Says Stamp this week.  I am also sending this over to the Freshly Made Sketches #72 challenge:

Here is my very literal take on the sketch:

I used the Love Letters Collection from Bo Bunny, a cuttlebug embossing folder and Hero Arts sentiment.  The largest heart was cut from felt.  Trim is from JoAnne's.  And, I (gasp!) actually used scissors to cut the scalloped border.  TeeHee

Have a grand evening!

This is such a pretty Valentine Joy! I love that embossing folder and the texture the felt heart gives this! I giggled whenI read your comment about using the scissors to cut your borders- I have a whole canister of those scissors I always forget to use:)

This is so beautiful, Joy. I love how you used the felt heart and then put the smaller heart made from the same paper on top and you even centered it so it has the tiny heart in the middle and that pretty lace just rounds it off!
